 Translation: The place of the way, polishing heart/mind by the way of harmonizing energy.  

Located in the Northside of Chicago, in the heart of the Ravenswood neighborhood;  Aikido Kenshin Dojo is affiliated with Aikido Shimbokukai, an Officially Recognized Organization of the Aikikai Foundation (Aikido World Headquarters) in Tokyo, Japan.

Our Aikido program is offered as a transformative practice to members of Daiyuzenji Chicago Rinzai Temple .

LET US BEGIN

We meet on Mondays 6:00 PM-7:30 PM, Fridays 6:30 AM-8:00 AM, & Sundays 12PM-12:45 PM; It is $20.00 per class and $35.00 per week.  If you are a Daiyuzenji member, classes are automatically available to you.

Please email: [email protected] to speak with the instructor, or to arrange a visit.  Please wear comfortable clothing which allows for freedom of movement.  For example a t-shirt and sweat pants are fine to start.  No jeans or shorts please.  

PROMOTIONAL TESTING

Promotional testing is conducted several times a year. Rank promotions are registered with Aikido Shimbokukai and recognized by the Aikikai Foundation.  New students are required to register with Aikido Shimbokukai by submitting a $65.00 fee at the time of the first test.
