Our dojo is located in the Northside of Chicago, in the heart of the Ravenswood neighborhood. We are affiliated with the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo through Aikido Shimbokukai, an association working to foster exchange, mutual support, and friendship among Aikido teachers from different traditions.
Our Aikido program is offered as a transformative practice to members of Daiyuzenji Chicago Rinzai Temple . We also work closely with Childhood Fractured, in developing situational awareness/self-defense programs for their educational outreach initiatives.
“The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit.” -Morihei Ueshiba
