 PROGRAMS & TRAINING SCHEDULE

AIKIDO CLASSES (Mondays 6PM-7:30PM, Fridays 6:30AM-8AM, & Sundays 12PM-12:45PM)
Regular Aikido training; continuing to explore basic applications of Aikido technique from different perspectives. This class is open to beginners & practitioners of any rank.

AIKIDO BOOTCAMP FOR BEGINNERS (Scheduled once a month from 11AM-2PM: August 9th, September 20th, October 18th, November 22nd, & December 20th )

Scheduled once a month, on a Saturday, this 3-hour bootcamp will cover foundational basic application of body movement, ukemi (falling/rolling), striking attacks, and etiquette.  This workshop will prepare you to participate in our regular classes.  No experience necessary!  For participants who want to come back into Aikido, you can use this bootcamp to reignite your training.

As an enrollment option, we now offer group registration, up to 4 participants maximum.  Youth between the ages of 14-17 years old are welcome to participate with prior consent from a legal guardian.  You may also re-enroll in this bootcamp for as many times as you like.  Be advised that space is limited.  Enroll now!
 

ATTENDANCE/CLASS FEES
No matter if you are a beginner with no martial arts experience or a person who wants to get back into training, you are welcome & encouraged to come out & train on any or all of our scheduled days! 

Our training is automatically open to supporting members of Daiyuzenji. For non-members; $20 per class/$35 per week. 

NOTE: Daiyuzenji membership & class fees do not include hosted special events that are not part of our regular scheduled training program; in addition to annual membership dues & rank testing fees to Aikido Shimbokukai.


YOUTH
Youth, between 14 years-17 years old, are welcome to participate in our regular scheduled training program with prior consent from a legal guardian.

AIKIDO RANK TEST PREPARATION
Every month we have a dedicated Saturday scheduled to focus on Rank Testing Requirements.  If you taken our Aikido Bootcamp for Beginners, you can start to prepare yourself with testing requirements for 5th Kyu (the first rank test).  For all other Aikidoka, this is an an opportunity to prepare for your next test.

Regardless whether you're testing or want to review your next test requirements, you are welcome to join us!  Check back on our website or sign-up for our monthly newsletter for scheduled dates.


MEDITATION GROUPS
As part of the Daiyuzenji community, we offer meditation prior to our Friday morning Aikido class.  Although encouraged & beneficial, meditation is NOT mandatory for taking classes.  To meditate with this group, you must receive in-person introductory instruction offered Tuesday 7PM-9PM/Sunday 8:30AM-10:30 AM or attend an Introduction to Zen Meditation Workshop.
